To help the foreign professors better understand local Chinese culture, and to enhance students' cross-cultural communication abilities, two local skilled craftsmen and two foreign teachers were invited for a “Mianzhou Paper-Cutting Show”. 

During the event, the craftsmen demonstrated their amazing professional skills in Chinese traditional paper-cutting. With the students’ further introduction about the bless meaning entailed in diversified paper patterns, the foreign teachers were deeply impressed by this intangible cultural heritage. Moreover, the foreign teachers even learned the basic paper-cutting techniques, which could be the most interesting and unique skill their acquired during their teaching in China.
